Good Earth Charitable Group

The Good Earth Charitable Group (GECG) is a Canadian-registered charity. We work with our partners and supporters to introduce sustainable, community-based development projects where they are most needed. First established in 2007 as a not-for-profit organization, the GECG received its charity designation from the Government of Canada’s Canada Revenue Agency in 2009.

Currently, the GECG’s focus is on assisting the poor of Asia and West Africa. We are raising funds to undertake a set of projects aimed at helping those caught in the crush of poverty to improve their economic and social conditions. With our partners and donors, we share the conviction that everyone, regardless of economic or social station, has the right to such necessities as proper food, clean water, education, healthcare, and employment. Priority groups targeted in our projects include women, children, and people with disabilities.

The GECG adheres to the principles of good governance. Donors, partners, and agencies associated with our projects can be assured of our transparent, responsible, and effective use of funds and resources.
